Need a little advice
This is my first time obtaining a puppy from a breeder. I found one that I really like and I kind of have my heart set on getting a pup out of them. I took the first step in contacting the breeder (via email) asking for information about the dogs and telling a bit about myself as well (my lifestyle, what I'm looking for, etc). I got a quick response with a lot of info about the dogs and breedings. When I replied, I expressed interest and told them that once again I'm new to this whole process and not sure what it entails (as far as them finding me a suitable puppy parent) so I said if there's anything they'd like to know about me, I'd be happy to answer their questions. I haven't received a response in days. I'm curious whether I should send another email? I don't wanna appear too pushy but I do want one of their pups.

If you're comfortable sharing the breeder and the sire and dam's names you will get A LOT of helpful info.
also sharing a little bit about yourself can help some very experienced members here steer you in the right direction. |
Sure, I'd contact them again. They must have thought they already had enough info. I'd also do as much online checking about them as you can. Most good breeders like to have a face to face meeting & mach a pup to your life style as much as possible.
Best of luck |
Thanks guys. I emailed them again but still got no reply. It's so discouraging since I really liked this breeder and hesitated in contacting them because I was nervous they'd reject me. I guess my search continues.

Can you call them?? you never know if people 'get' their emails, have a computer problem..I'd call them

I would call as well, it can't hurt and you'll know after the call if you need to continue with your search!

If you are serious about getting a puppy soon from this breeder, if I were you, I would email the breeder and put in the subject line: Want to make a deposit on puppy!. I would send it with high priority and request a read receipt. That way you will know it arrived.
