looking for good GSD from good breeder in/near OH

We are thinking about getting a GSD as family pet and for protection. I have looked around and visited 1 breeder (Estate Dogs - Bill Prince). I don't know anythin about the breeder and could not find much info. Did some search as well here, but most of the info seems to be somewhat older.

Can someone give me some more information on reputable breeders in central OH? From what I have read, you should vist the breeder and see the parents to get a better feel.

Welcome to the site! I'm sure someone will chime in soon with breeders in or near Ohio, but in the mean time please do some research on here about getting a shepherd for "protection". This breed is wonderful, but it has an undeserved reputation a an attack/guard dog. Some can and will do the job, but it's training as well as breeding and isn't a guarantee. My guy will bark like crazy at a stranger, but will turn and run if threatened lol. Good luck!

According to the info on the website, the owner of Estate Dogs is the only American to have received the coveted Universal Seiger Award in OG Schleswig's club in Germany. Was hosen to represent the U.S.A. German Shepherd Dog Club in the World Team. He also export GSD back to Germany.

Are any of these accomplishment meanful?
