Black/Tan Michigan breeder help

I have been looking for hours on end for a new pup. I would prefer standard/short coat black and tan anywhere in Michigan or close to, but have come up with nothing. I would also be interested in a light colored black and red. Going to be a family pet so good temperment is a must. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on a breeder? Thanks.

I got Kip from Cher Car Kennels in St. John's, MI and could not be happier. I know they recently had a litter from Kip's dam but don't know if the pups are all spoken for or not. Great breeder. Here's the link to their website: www.chercarkennels.com.

I am in the Midland area. Funny you post about the Richland rescue as that is where I used to live. Well actually on the north end of Gull Lake. I prefer to get a puppy and all they have listed are adults. I have spoke with Cher Car and they a litter with Kevlar and Frieda coming this spring but was looking to see if anyone knew of something that may be available sooner. Thanks.

If you contact the rescue, they do get pups in now and then. Julie at Alta-Tollhaus has litters on a regular basis. More often than not, there is a bit of a wait for a good pup from a good breeder.

If you google GSD breeders you'll get lists of several good breeders in all states. I live in Da UP & drove 300 Mi to WI for a pup.
