Looking for a breeder in Colorado
Hi I'm a new member but have been reading these forums for a while. My family and I are hoping to become 1st time gsd owners in the near future. We are looking for a companion/family dog and I would eventually like to get involved in schutzhund.
I've started searching for breeders in the area and have a few i'm interested in checking out. One in particular I'm leaning towards is Von Rief GSD in the Springs. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? |

I have not heard of them at all before. It looks like they do a lot with the Gunbil kennel dogs which are West German Show lines, is that what you are looking for. If you are interested in later doing Sch., you might want to go to local club and meet members and the dogs they have and ask where they got them from. I got a puppy just about 2.5 years ago now. I f you want to pm me I can give you a list of breeders here in CO and what my experience was in dealing with them.
