Default Looking for companion/family GSD breeder in California

Preferably near the Bay Area if possible. I don't like the idea of shipping pups or not being able to see them first.

Thank you in advance

Make sure you have a lot of time to read through Welcome to the GSD/FAQ's for the first time owner - German Shepherd Dog Forums and specifically How to find a puppy! . with so many pitfalls to getting a great pup and finding a responsible breeder I know I use it as a reference.

:-)

Default Bay Area pet GSD

Hi,

I have a simply AWESOME dog that I got from a pet breeder just outside of Sacramento. You can go check them out...see the parents etc. I bought my dog as a pet but I've done tons of obedience, protection, nosework and tracking with him. He loves to work...but is also incredible easy going and mellow in the house. Here's the link to their website! My dog's mother is retired but his father it 'Hutch' who is still being used in their breeding program.

What bloodlines are you interested in? What are you looking for in a dog, and what do you plan to do with him/her?
