Default West Ger. show kennels around VA

I knew working lines, I love DDR and Czech dogs but we are looking for a mellower middle ground and larger male for our next dog. Pet with a possibility of working as a balance dog, aka service dog if my next candidate falls through.

We moved to northern Virginia, so who has solid temperament in their show lined dogs? Or too pretty working dogs? Lol. I would like the heavy headed males like Orus at Haus Juris. Budget is up to 2000 though that will take me time to raise. He's to be a gift so I'm stuck with what I can save on disability.

Prefer very dark dogs if I can get them, but temperament and structure are paramount. Taller is better than shorter in what might be a balance dog. But you can imagine that a candidate needs to be mentally solid, that with good training and socialization can accept and ignore the new and loud.

I know I posted a few places but it took me awhile to hit the right place.

Hi to all the old boarding and breeders good lord we are getting old.

I am sure you can find what you are looking for in both showlines and working lines.

Haus Juris is right there and in the area--might be worth contacting them. But very dark dogs are the exception in the German conformation lines.

i am planning on visiting Haus Juris but Christine. Laura and I both loved the look of your dogs last night when we hit your site. As a funny coincidence. Our number has become mixed up with that of a local inn, the Blackthorn Inn and we are always getting their phone calls.

I am wondering if that is fate yelling at us.

Email me, I have a question about local kennels. Thanks, Cher
