Looking for pup in North Georgia

I have a client who is looking for a puppy. His dad was a very competent Schutzhund helper with our club years ago but has been out of the sport for years. Anyway the guy looking is in his early 20's, very outdoorsy and has had one dog of his own(a GSD that died at age 4 while in the care of a petsitter) outside of the family GSDs he grew up with. He doesn't really plan to do Schutzhund at a competitive level, but grew up around it and is not ruling it out as a hobby. But also likes to hike, canoe, camp and that type of thing and wants a dog who he can take along. He likes sables, but doesn't care about color so much. He also says he really doesn't care male/female but guesses male would be first choice if he had to pick.
He found a few kennels that we steered him away from(no health certs and very much backyard breeders) so we are looking around trying to help him out. Working lines would be his preference, or maybe someone who breeds for herding or agility would be another option. He doesn't really love the ASL and is ok with the WGSL, but doesn't really want to spend as much as the WGSL folks seem to charge generally.
Just seeing what is out there.

How far south in N. GA do you want to go? I've heard good things about Atlanta K9 Academy and Linienbach Kennels in Tyrone (or Brooks - can't remember exactly), which is just south of the Atlanta airport. There's also Sequoyah Shepherds if he wants to go a little north of GA.

One of Chattahoochee Schutzhund's members has puppies.
Dan G. is friends with them and could give you the contact info. They just moved out of the area, but are back every few weeks, and bring dogs back and forth with them.

Thanks, Neo93. I checked Atl K9 and didn't see anything available on their site. Sequoyah has no links to pedigrees or any real info that I could find so moved on. Maybe there is more there than I am seeing. I'll look again.
