So in about 6 months to a year my boyfriend and I will be ready to add a second dog to our family. I'm currently going through the wonderful process of finding a good German Shepherd breeder. We ran into a lady with her new puppy at the dog park and I was instantly impressed by the puppy's temperament, intelligence and good looks. I asked the owner where she got her and about the breeder and she had nothing but praise for the lady that runs it. I've started communicating with her and she seems to really know her stuff. Also all her dogs are titled and health checked. So I was just wondering if anyone had heard of or had any experience with this breeder.
Here's the website: - Home Also this breeder lives far from me so I would be reliant on her to pick the pup and then ship said pup. I have to admit I'm not thrilled with that, not because of anything on the breeders end but because I would like to interact a little first. Is this a valid concern? For this reason I've also started looking at Seqouyah Shepherds. The main benefit of them being that we would be able to drive there (even though it is a 6 hour drive). So what do you guys think, I like everything about the first breeder but should I rule her out since I can't drive there? Thanks for the input! |

I know the breeder *personally* from the website you posted.
I can honestly say....you have chosen a good breeder to consider. She is honest and very nice.....and will choose the proper puppy for you. I would not hesitate buying a puppy from her.... Best Wishes!

had a quick little look at some of the breeding females -- we seem to be moving in the same circles -- her "Angel" Sandokan and my "Avery" a Sandokan bred female share the same dam , Wendy Sandokan . Her "Edge" is sired by Dino Schaferliesel , my "Avery" is sired by Dino's brother Duke Schaferliesel .
Her Nikki has Aron Poppitz --- last fall I brought in two Iwan Poppitz (son of Aron Poppitz) pups. I think her description of the drives is pretty accurate and the two males she kept back are impressive . I would certainy go have a look at this kennel. Looks very interesting .
