Talking Personal Accomplishment of mine. :) (Not GSD Related)

I'm a groomer apprentice, i started this year March 24 with no grooming experience but a lot of desire to become a groomer! (I had animal experience working at an animal hospital as a kennel attendant and an adoption counselor/kennel specialist at a shelter)

And now i'm completing my own grooms from start to finish!! I'm very excited for the day when they look really good and i get done quicker!

Just thought i would share a personal accomplishment with you guys.

I hope to go to grooming school in the winter to get a diploma.

Just super excited, grooming can be a lot of fun, its stressful too, but the reward after your done grooming a dog- especially if it was smelly, matted, mud butt, etc. And the owner is very happy with it! Such a reward. And of course the cute cuddle bugs help make the day go better after the biters!

Freestep has been a great support for me for getting into the grooming world. Thanks Freestep!

Great job!! I don't envy my groomer her job but I'm very thankful she does it . Good groomers are so hard to find and you'll be worth your weight in good soon

I like grooming my patients. It's oddly calming and easy to do when they're asleep! I always find it a job that I must do in the summer to look between all paws (especially fuzzy ones) for cheat grass.

Congrats! Sounds like you will have a ton of fun!

Haha a very small amount of them will fall asleep on the table while grooming-its very sweet.
Thanks! Yes it can be a lot of fun!
