Default making the change, hair-non GSD.

I have naturally blonde hair and blue eyes, i am very fair skinned. I would love to make the jump from blonde to brown because i have always envied people with brown hair lol, any natural blonde fair skinned chicks pull it off on here?
I have included a pic, would I just look awful with brown hair?

My daughter is a blonde. She went for the two toned look making it brown under and keeping the blond on top.

Maybe try working lo-lights into your hair over time. That way you can slowly adapt to being a brunette without the drastic OMG!!! Also IMO with your lighter coloring you may want to lean towards an auburn look at first, I am not sure a neutral brown would compliment your coloring it may wash your complexion out... Good luck!

I am natural blonde and semi fair skinned depending on who you ask.. I went DARK brown and loved it.. back to blonde but I switch every so often, I think you should do it! here are a couple comparisons..

And for the record.. I did no such transition.. lol. I was blonde blonde one day and the next dark brown. It was more fun that way.. the shock factor. lol

My coloring is similar to yours, and I have tried every color, from dark brown to auburn. Go for it! It's fun, but keep in mind, if you dump too many chemicals in your hair, it can do some funky things. Years ago I used henna on my hair for a lovely shade of dark red; then I got tired of it, but didn't know you can't dye over henna. Long story short, my hair turned green when I tried to overdye henna, and I ended up with a very short haircut.

Whitney, you look amazing with dark hair! For Leslee, the light eyebrows are probably going to look strange with brown hair, so I think you'd need to dye those too.

Thank you Debbie! Funny enough, I LOVE my hair dark, but I get tired of dying it myself so I always go back blonde. Most like me with dark hair too except my boyfriend and entire family, I get so much crap about dying away my blonde, lol. I didn't think about the eyebrows.. I do have dark brown eyebrows with natural blonde hair so maybe that's why dark brown works for me.. lol.

Leslee, I think coloring eyebrows.. even with just a eyeshadow and brow brush would be a good idea I think you would look great, and I'll have to admit, you get very different responses from random people as a brunette than a blonde, lol.. not lying.

I'm naturally blonde and fair skinned. A few months ago I dyed my hair a medium reddish brown. I get a lot of compliments on it. My grandmother still has trouble recognizing me though.....

One draw back that I don't like is when it grows the roots are light. It looks odd to me. My eyebrows are light compared to the hair color, but I just use a darker eyebrow make up on them. It works.
