It's true)))) not that we are fascists but that we get dogs because they love us unconditionally and because people do enjoy telling them what to do.
When yu have a dog that listens from the first word yu start to feel a little more important)))))

If dogs could talk people wouldn't love them as much. But as it stands now, dogs can't talk, their body language shows that they adore you and they always want to be by your side

Couple that with them not being able to talk and tell you what they really think lol and yeah, it's a constant powerful mood and self esteem lifter

I'm not that good with words but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say

Lol actually I just remembered someone saying, if yu want to feel a little less self important - try bossing around someone else's dog.

So yeah, having a well trained dog is def a self importance lifter. Deny it or not.

Also, I think the need for someone to have a dog that listens flawlessly tells something about them (not anything bad, just adds to understanding who they are). There's a reason why some people don't care that much whether their dog comes when called or not. They're content chasing them around the park.
