If you have both and enjoy both for what they bring to the table......does that mean you have multiple personalities?

Saw it. Seems it's based on a study of 600 college kids. Hardly a diverse group. Plus there was an entire percentage that stated they either liked both or neither that didn't seem to be included which would also throw ratios. Someone doesn't know how to do a study.

Basic generalizations about the types of personalities that keep cats vs. dogs may have some weight, but intelligence is a fiddly thing to measure in general, much less to measure it by what kind of animal a person tends to keep. I'd like to know what kind of intelligence test they used for their data.

I'm also interested in the fact that it states that cat people are smarter than dog people in the title and once at the beginning of the article then focuses almost entirely on personality differences without any real study on how these differences can affect intelligence or how each one can help or hinder the pursuit of knowledge in all its different forms.
