Default Has anyone had malignant melanoma?

Just wondering if anyone has an uplifting stories or informational experiences in this. Thanks in advance. Getting margins taken on Monday.

They did a biopsy on my dad for it. Turned out to be squamous cell, and they took it out. He is fine-- this was at least 15 years ago.

Hope everything turns out well!

My son was diagnosed at age 11. Had 3 halo nevi and one large mole taken off his back. Took a couple attempts to get clear margins, but they finally did 2 months later...been well ever since, though at 34 he's pretty sick of me reminding him about sunscreen....good luck! I am sending good thoughts in abundance your way!

thank you. they had to do skin grafting on Monday for the margins procedure. find out next week if they got it all. :/

Clean margins all around. Dr called yesterday to let me know. Happy lady over here. The skin graft looks nasty but hey.
