I'm sorry but I have to agree. It's also possible your landlord isn't investigating because your neighbors are allowed guests, same as you. They don't have to investigate and often times wont without reasonable cause that the lease agreement is being broken. They could easily say the guy there all the time is simply a guest.

I think you need evidence for your landlord, or a lawyer, to get involved. I agree with the last two replies, it may be in your head. I personally get paranoid about things like that. From what you said it seems they are talking about you, but without real proof it is hard to convince your landlord to help when he has nothing to go on but you word. I agree with the person who said to get some better recording equipment. Catch them in the act. Once, or if, you get proof it will help you get help from others like your landlord, or better yet, a lawyer. I am so sorry you are going through this, and I hope things get better for you.

Good luck!

well im sorry you feel so uncomfortable in your new place. I would just enjoy your new large apartment, and ignore your lovely neighbors. if they say anything to you, just tell them to mind their own business!

I'd get some headphones. That seems crazy that the walls could be so thin.

Try to be quiet as a church mouse for a week and see if you drive them nuts wondering what you are up to.

If you can use earphones with your TV -- run it through your PC, and slippers, etc.

Put on ear phones and tune them out.

Keep them wondering.

from another thread about a month ago
I see and hear hallucinations and had an episode of grandiose delusions lately
i would see about talking to your therapist or case manager
my kids listen to their head phones 24/7 pretty much and with those in they can barely hear me standing next to them
they could not hear through a wall
perhaps try your favorite music or tv show with head phones?
