I started in October (going twice a week) with about a month off this winter. I started it because they offered it at work. I don't like regular gyms and I like having other people around me that will push me and encourage me to go as hard as I can. Plus it can be a friendly competition among everyone. We all keep score of how we do and post it on the board. I also run a lot and am training for a marathon. I don't know that I would do crossfit if it wasn't free for me. Going to an actual crossfit gym can be pricey and I spend my money on IPO .

What made you decide to do it?

"crossfit" sounds like an adjective for a really pissed off person having a tantrum....like a double curmudgeon.

Is crossfit some new sport for dogs like rally or flyball ??? Never heard of it before.

I have done weightlifting on my own for a while now but have been getting really really bored and started losing motivation for working out. Someone I work with suggested I look at her gym and I did.. I love the atmosphere, the comradery, and the coaches are awesome. I pay though.. I could go on base but I prefer not to.

LOL it's just an exercise program, for humans not dogs Started out small and just kept growing. I have heard good and bad things about it but foudn a gym that seemed to actually be in really good shape with safety and form, so I tried it out. I'm super new at it and just thought it would be cool to talk to others about it. People at my work talk crap about it so much it gets annoying, moreso wanted positive experiences on here
