A friend has one and I have played with it. I had heard some complaints about call quality and wi fi interface but he said it is fine there. If I get it I loose unlimited data but I dont normally go over 2GB anyway.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S3 and have had it for almost 2 years now. I'll be upgrading soon to another Samsung most likely.

I'd hold off on the S4 if I were you since the S5 is supposed to be coming out real soon. That's what I'm holding out for.

I lost my unlimited data too after three years with a Motorola Droid X. I found that I was barely using 2GB, and when I bought the HTC One Max and the 2GB data plan, I was automatically permanently upgraded to 6GB forever.

I tether occasionally when my internet service goes down, or if I have to take my computer to work. Even still, I've never gone over 2GB for the short time that I use tethering.

Unless you're streaming a ton of movies on your phone, you're most likely not going to go over 2GB. I don't think I've ever gone over that.

Yeah my daughter watches Netflix on hers but when her phone goes out she is on her own--Talk to me about the 6GB upgrade Michael How did you swing that. Was that VZW?
I do have a concern if I use this with mapping applications. Map tiles are a lot of data

They mentioned 6GB to me but it was in the context of sharing with the other two data phones and I said I did not want to do that and they said 2GB on your phone then. Because of my daughter using so much.

Oh I use voice to text ALL the time though I have had some crazy uhoh's when I was not wearing my glasses to double check

I have AT&T Galaxy Note 3, I used to have an S4. Both are great phones I love my Note 3. It is big but once you get used to it you start to like it. If you think you will use the stylus it is really nice. The only thing I don't like about the Note 3 is the external speaker is not good. It is much worse than the one on the S4. Other than that I can't say anything bad about it. That can be a little annoying when you are on speaker phone or using GPS. If you can deal with the size it is a great phone. Mine were both on AT&T though and I have unlimited data!

AT&T coverage is NOT good here. .
I guess the one thing I will do is go out with my HTC and play with aerial maps and see how much data usage they take.
