Default I am so mad!

I wondered why daughter didn't talk to a few girls anymore, it was upsetting! Come to find out they drink beer and smoke pot and are giving my daughter **** because she won't. I always told myself there was only one way I would end up in prison and that was if someone did something bad to one of my kids. Then maybe a little jail time to set a kid straight (messing with my daughter) that is doing bad things to them selves might be worth it. I would so stop them in their tracks!!!

I understand your anger, but look at your daughter. She is standing up for herself. Good for her! You did a great job raising her right. She has her priorities in order and isn't going to get mixed up in that stuff. You must be so proud of her.

let it go. Your daughter is clearly a good kid who makes good choices if she's saying no. They're just trying to pressure her and she's standing strong to her belief in saying no. Right on. Take her to dinner or shopping. She's doing awesome by from the sounds of things being willing to cut the bad influences out of her life.

My kid works and does sports, and takes of and works her dog, so I have no room to listen to a free loader!

I see her and she is stressed, it breaks my heart! A girl the other night tried to pick a fight with her in the middle of a basketball game.

I think a parents' job is to always worry, but sometimes we have to have faith too and trust our kids to make the right decisions. Like Krystal said, your daughter is making all the right choices. That makes her a very strong person. She is young, but she is also wise.

My daughter held it together and never backed down, she took up for herself. After it was over she threw up because she was so mad.

Then be there for her, like I know you are. Give her a hug. Be a shoulder for her to cry on. Listen to her. Reassure her and tell her how proud you are of the young woman she is turning into. It takes a lot of maturity to go against your peers. Your daughter is handling herself beautifully.
