I was in south africa on a safari and the driver said the hyenas are the ones you gotta watch. We drove pretty close to lions, he wouldnt let the hyenas get to close. He said they will rip the tires off the truck. They have a more powerful bite than a lion and are nuts.

Hyena would win IMO!

I watch the National Geographic channel and they always say that hyenas have very powerful jaws and how they can break another hyena's neck with one bite.
