nope, mine likes to sleep where the sun shines and warm and play with my GSD Tyson's tail, which by the way Tyson hates.

Its not a very big basement, and its got unpacked boxes in, so she probably just sits and chills out, shes always been a quiet aloof kind of cat, more so now we have the pup.

Cats are inquisitive and love exploring. They also apparently like to challenge themselves by attempting to fit into odd and difficult places. My Sienna likes to jump into bookshelves and try to time it perfectly so that she lands between the TOP of the books (there's only a gap of about 4 or 5 inches) and the top of the shelf. She will also try to crawl inside a dresser drawer if I pull it out and then into the back of the dresser. Lots of fun to get her out.
