And doing well.
It's been about 2 months now since I've been really posting on here. This forum was a life saver when I worked at my last job since I had absolutely nothing to do all day! Well, I certainly can't say the same about this job! I'm here at 7 in the morning, leave at 3 (almost time YEAH!) and I am swamped. But it's a good swamped LOL ... definitely not twiddling my thumbs. Ky and I have been having a blast this winter. She is a trooper at pulling my nephew and my sister on the sled ... SIGH ... I just have to be near her. She won't really pull me. BUT ... great news! Being the nosy, over bearing talkative person that I am ... I saw a couple with three adult huskies and a puppy husky and a GSD! I joked that they had their own sledding team. They laughed, and said, yes, we do, we have so much fun, even the shepherd loves it. Well, that personality trait helped me out! The "mushers" they are with only do it for fun. They do race, but nothing competitive and they have all breeds of dogs. The only condition - your dog MUST be healthy and it must want to run. Our first run is this weekend, and we just got 30 cms of snow, so it should be a lot of fun. So that's my update! Not much of one, but we are all doing well, and enjoying the snow! Hope everyone else is doing well!

Just came back from an all day hike with Ky and my friend and her dog. The weather is gorgeous and we walked a trail twice (because 5 km is just not enough the first time LOL) A 10 km hike is what it takes to actually tire Ky out. She's so pooped right now that she completely ignored her supper and is crashed on her bed!!!! Now that's the kind of tired I like to see in a dog!!! My poor team has certainly taken its hits. (I'm a sens fan). I PVRd the game we played against Philly today, plan on watching that tonight (so don't wreck it for me LOL!) fingers crossed that we don't lose anyone else for the rest of the season. As much as I am not a fan of winter, having a dog like Ky has certainly made me enjoy it alot more. Her antics and love of the snow certainly keep me laughing and wanting to go out more and more. We just had a huge dump of snow last week, and while I was happy to see it b/c of the sledding, it's now March, and I'm quite ready for it to all go away!!!!
