An unusual approach. Keep in mind I drove through the snow tonight to practice with my sig 9mm and .45. i coulda shot those antlers but it must add alot of stress to try and not hit the animal.

OH yeah that was freaky. I thought they were shooting the deer! Calculated risk I guess.

Throughout the vid I thought they were trying to shoot one vs the other. I never thought of shooting the antler but it made sense and saved two bucks. Im in cook county and bucks seem rare. Not that we need any more deer.

I thought it was excellent shooting, I would have thought that they would just shoot the deer instead of trying help them. I guess I'm more surprised then anything. Surprised at the shot, but more surprised that the deer let them take that shot.
