No more Saturday delivery

Postal service says it's gone by next August.

It won't bother me, but I'm sure some will grumble.

I just hope they keep the office windows open Saturday am! That's handy for people who work during the week.

I wouldn't even mind if they also stopped delivery on tuesdays which I heard mentioned once before. There are lots of days when there is nothing or nothing worth while in my mailbox specially since I do almost everything online.

The problem I have is that this will affect delivery of packages, which is what people need when they are ordering things online.
UPS and FedEx will probably increase their prices.

Fed-ex does but ups no, unless you pay extra (of course).

According to the USPS website, they'll still deliver packages on Saturday, just not regular mail.

I can live without Saturday delivery but we have had a recent issue with stuff even getting to the right mailbox
