No more Saturday delivery

Postal service says it's gone by next August.

It won't bother me, but I'm sure some will grumble.

Of course I will grumble. Things are not going well anywhere. But this is not a political forum, so I will say no more.

I just hope they keep the office windows open Saturday am! That's handy for people who work during the week.

I wouldn't even mind if they also stopped delivery on tuesdays which I heard mentioned once before. There are lots of days when there is nothing or nothing worth while in my mailbox specially since I do almost everything online.

The problem I have is that this will affect delivery of packages, which is what people need when they are ordering things online.
UPS and FedEx will probably increase their prices.

According to the USPS website, they'll still deliver packages on Saturday, just not regular mail.

USPS announces new delivery schedule

Kit Kat - GSD, DOB 12/09/15
Red XIII - ~3 y/o GSD mix - stray/feral
Willie - 14.5 y/o Border Collie mix
Daisy - 18 y/o orange DLH kitty
