My wife, same thing as the others, only I had to prod her into going.

Not only did I have this happen, too, but several of my friends did. Try not to worry too much. Chances are, it's nothing.
That being said, I understand how stressful it is. They didn't say anything to me, just called me back, then made me wait two weeks for the results. And this was only an ultrasound!

Geez, that must have had you up the wall!

My friend recently had to go through all this as well. I've avoided telling any of my friends about this because I don't want anyone to needlessly worry (and I've only told a VERY select few of my family members)...

But honestly, the more time goes on, the more I'm realized that sometimes not talking about it makes it worse. Sometimes you need to just be able to say, "I'm freaking out!" to kinda feel better about it.

So thank you all for letting me do that!

It is way ok to freak out. Just know you are not alone. It is very unnerving.

No problem! Go have a Guinness and then make an appointment to have it checked. Better sooner than later.

Ah, I am so sorry for what you are going through..but, maybe, just maybe, the long wait means they don't think it is anything to worry about..Keep your faith and remember His promises are always kept..

My appointment isn't until the first of March. So I've basically got 5 more weeks to sit and worry about the "what ifs".

I gotta say, this whole thing has kinda freaked me out. Whatever the outcome, I can deal with it. But it's the not knowing that's driving me mad.

Has anyone else here ever dealt with a scare like this?
I have fibrocystic breasts so lumps aren't quite as frightening as they once were. I'm glad you're having the triple assessment, though. The hardest part, for me, would be the wait. I am horrible at waiting.
