LOVE LOVE LOVE that list!!!!

At first I thought I was the thread killer, but after a couple of weeks saw lots of other "killers" out there, so figured it had been talked to death / viewed enough ...

I know I notice when someone that I "like" hasn't posted in a while ... I usually give it about 2 weeks, and then PM them ...

I already know I don't "fit in" LOL ... I'm here to read stories and share the fun things in my life with my dog!

Maybe some people see me as a thread killer but I do not care. If I can offer suggestions for someone having a problem and share ideas/experiences I am all for it. Usually I get on and off of the forum because I got my hands full between the rat, the dog, and my music. I like it here and I am staying.

10. Why do show dogs have those horrible sloped backs?

9. How can I teach my puppy to protect me?

8. My vet said I should stick with Science Diet.

7. We’re making good progress on “sit” using the shock collar.

6. My spouse keeps telling me that GSDs were meant to stay outside.

5. Can I re-home him if his ears don’t stand up?

4. First fight!

3. Help! I taught my dog to bark at my wife, and now he won’t stop.

2. I want to switch to RAW, but I feel I should add some fruits and veggies.

And the #1 way to get someone to respond to your thread:

1. I agree with Cesar’s method for handling this problem.

Great list, but you forgot the biggest attention getter of all.
"At what age can I breed my GSD?".

I feel the same way sometimes, about not fitting in, especially since I have the dreaded American showlines that I actually DO show. And I've definitely killed more than one thread since I've been here, lol.

I rarely post photos, but I love to look at photo threads. I may have a new puppy this spring - depends on if there are any potential show males in a litter coming up - and if so, I plan on posting a boatload of photos then.

I try but my dog is half WGSL and I don't compete(he's only 5 months old) so right now I'm "only a pet person" which makes me less of a dog owner or whatever.
This is exactly why I'm here as well. I haven't found any groups/clubs near me. It's a group of people who get it. I lurked here for a while, picking up bits and pieces to help me with Finn, but I decided to join the fun.

Same here. I know others who own dogs, but they don't seem to be 'dog people' if you know what I mean.

I live pretty far out from a major (or even minor) city, so no dog parks, walking trails, or dog clubs of any kind.
