How can I track a package from US to Canada?

Since a lot of people here are from Canada I was wondering if someone could help me track a package that was sent from US? This is the third time post office failed to deliver it and Im starting to get suspicious. I only see that it left my city one month ago, how can I find it?

tracking number is all you can use.

It doesn't show that it entered Canada at all. Is there a webside Canadians use to track international packages?

I have no idea. I constantly have things shipped from overseas and get a tracking number. when I track the package it shows every stop from THEIR postal service through ours.

You should have been given a tracking number to use. UPS, Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx all use them

No, there's no different way we track our packages compared to the US

The problem is when you use the US postal service and then delivery becomes the responsibility of Canada Post (once the package clears customs) the two postal tracking systems are not integrated. I ordered from Cafe Press in the US and they stated on their website that tracking was not available outside the US if you used the regular postal services. If you used an expedited service like FedEx or UPS, the package would stay under their care for the whole distance and tracking might be possible. An additional note, my 2 separate Cafe Press orders took a ridiculous amount of time, over a month and were delivered after I reported them missing. They were tied up at customs for most of that time. Maybe that's where your stuff is.

I used USPS I reported them as not delivered today so hopefully they get back to me. Third time in a row in past 2 moths its costing me money. They will probably just blame Canada...

I know when I've sent packages to Canada, it takes awhile..Has to go thru customs I believe?

You can't. Once it crosses the border, it is no longer part of the USPS. At least that's the way it was last time I sent a package out of the country. Call your local post office and verify.
