Default Illiterate Much?

Am I the only one who makes the same mistakes over and over? I think I have proofed, hit submit and there it is - glaring mistake. UGH! People must think I'm an idiot.

The biggest for me is leaving the "R" off of your. I type in you. "You dog." I thought it was just a typing thing. My fingers go off without my brain. So, yesterday, I left my son a note. "Do you homework." My daughter was quick to point out my mistake. I said, "OH! I meant Do yo homework." LOL! GEEZ!

Then there are those pesky sound alike words....there, their, they're, to, two, too. Hmmm. It's not me. It's the English language.

Hitting submit now. Sure I missed something. Oh well.

I do the same thing, but part of my problem is keyboard sesitivity on the laptop and on the tablet lol. It doesn't register all my clicks!

All the time....I hit submit and realize the word I have in a sentence might have the same amount of letters in it as the word I needed but makes no sense whatsoever!

Guilty as well

Great example: posting a photo with the word "fire house" in the caption rather then "firehose." The fact I was describing a toy should have been a glaring mistake but I didn't see it until I couldn't edit

I use the word "to" in place of "too" the other day in a writeup for one of the dogs. I freaked out! Went and corrected it. That kind of thing drives me nuts and I always wonder why more people don't care (when I see it on other dog bios on petfinder or some such).

My mind seems to work faster than my fingers can type, plus I never learned to type well so I leave out letters or words. What is worse is when I speak the wrong word, I always blame it on hormones.

I'm pretty sure just about every other post I make I have to go back and edit (providing I catch it in time to edit)

Me biggest mistake is typing "me" when I mean "my." I have no idea why I do it, and it certainly is subconscious. Makes me sound like a leprechaun or something.
