LOL I've never had a problem with that specifically, but my boyfriend did scare the heck out of me the other night by doing that. I've been watching American Horror Story on Netflix and dozed off during one episode, and woke up hearing someone whispering...opened my eyes to see my boyfriend staring at me from about 2 feet away in the dark and just about had a heart attack! Of course he did that on purpose as revenge for me hiding a really realistic giant spider toy behind his shampoo bottle, knowing that he's afraid of spiders.

I can't stand having anyone breathe on me, dogs included. That's about the only thing that makes me kick them off the bed. Hector likes to sleep with his face near mine and I like it too except if he shifts so he's breathing on me, which wakes me up quickly. Drives me nuts!

You guys are making me feel better. I routinely elbow my poor BF to make him roll over, which only does so much good since he'll stay on his stomach breathing quietly for about 15-20 minutes before rolling back onto his back! He often goes to bed earlier than I do too (he has a military support job and has to be there at 5 AM half the time, while I either work from home or roll into work around 9 AM) and so on those nights I usually just sleep in the guest room or fall asleep on our super-comfortable couch. I don't think it interferes with our intimacy at all and he says he doesn't mind, which his actions back up, so I don't worry except when I have a friend who says it's totally weird, like happened today.

I think my trouble stems from that :P
I believe you would have a heart attack if you slept in the same room as me! LOL!

My DH has sleep apnea so he uses a CPAP machine but even WITH it he sometimes snores.

When I travel I CANNOT sleep because it's too quiet!! I turn on the tv just for noise.

You're not weird... I'll take it several degrees higher LOL!

I have something called Misophonia... I know totally stupid name but basically a lot of quiet noises actually drive me insane... My husbands chewing, typing... things like that. I literally can't take it so a lot of the times we're together I'm wearing some small on ear Bose headphones to take the edge off. It's not just being annoyed by it, it actually makes you angry and some people violent. I heard there was a guy with it who shot a guy who was eating popcorn in a movie theater... Sounds funny but it's true. That's one reason I rarely go to the movies, I'm not going to hurt anyone lol but it's... the best way I can describe it is like nails on chalkboard but you can't make a fuss about it or get away from it(people will think you're weird). I think it might be some kind of rare form of OCD, I don't know too much about it and neither do a lot of doctors yet. Link about it, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misophonia

Also I don't like my husband sleeping facing towards me, makes me feel like he's watching me while I'm trying to sleep... Too many horror movies I think.

For the past few months, I've had ringing in my ears. Talk about annoying! I need background noise to drown it out.

My husband's a big guy but luckily he doesn't snore. If he does I know he's really sick or it's a death rattle! Our dogs sleep in our room and I have a fan running all night to neutralize the noise. I never realized how annoying they are until the power went out. All the itching, turning around, nails on the floor, whimpering in their sleep, lol.

My husband only snores when he is really tired, and that's when it becomes annoying. He says I that snore too,but I can't imagine myself doing such a thing.LOL.
