I am a ghost here. Is it something I said??

I don't know if it's because I'm on the other side of the world from the majority of people here, or because I have less than 10,000 posts to my name. But I very often feel like I am very invisible on this forum.

Sometimes I find it frustrating that threads that are labelled "Want To Breed My 8 Month Old HD GSD For The 5th Time" type topics get far more traffic and attention than any other topics on the board.

Most, if not all of the new threads I have started get little or no traffic on them at all. It's not that I'm out for attention here. But it would be nice to have normal discussions and banter with people that isn't fuelled by attacks on the mistakes/ignorance of others.

So I'm just wondered...is it something I said? Why am I so invisible? Do I need to become more cutthroat or something?

Rant over.

Timing can be a big thing. Will have to look. Sometimes the threads that get all the banter really are meaningless - just folks that repeat the same on same old and have nothing to add so that the harder ones often go missing. Sometimes someone has nothing to say about your situation. Also things like foods etc - you have completely different brands over there. Not sure what you asked....Will look.

I think alot of posters at one point or another go 'invisible',,post something and the next poster posts the same thing you (general you) just posted and they get a 'yahoo your right'..

Don't take it personally, it is what it is:)

Haha! Well that's good to know.

Funny thing is that I've never had a spat with anyone on the forum. At least none that I know of.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in high school again on these things. Everyones got their groups and people they like to talk to. And I'm that funny lookin girl in the corner with glasses and who always gets picked last for everything.

Oh dear...it's followed me into adulthood. LOL! :p

Yes, that's happened to me a lot. It doesn't usually bother me. But I think it's the fact that I've posted up threads in the past that fall into the netherworld rather quickly and it's starting to make me wonder if I'm on everyones Ignore list.

Maybe I should start every new thread I post with "BYB seeks advice on breeding 42 dogs". That'll get everyones attention.

Rua, LOL that WOULD get attention for sure:)

I feel that way a lot. I post in other people's threads and I'm basically ignored. I post pics and get a few replies here and there.
I don't give a lot of advice as I'm not really that qualified to give it.
I love my dog and think he's something special, doesn't mean others do. I'm okay with that, but sometimes I think "geez, what did I do"? :D

Hey, I like your car but you have ignored my comments on that! :p

I've noticed the introduction/welcome threads go unanswered at times. I hadn't noticed it happening very often in the past.
