I've felt like this a lot too... I thought it was because I'm not involved in sport(my pups only 4 1/2 months old), that I didn't have a full WL dog(he is WGSL/WL cross) and because my dog isn't sable which seems to be all the rage right now.

I wouldn't take it too personally though, I think that's how 'most' threads go and of course this is the Internet and people like to argue so the hot button stuff gets more attention, seems like there's some here who live to argue with others.

It's discouraging and sometimes frustrating but I try not to take it personally.

I'll gladly reply to a thread of yours if I think I have useful information for you.

It's about time for a pint over there eh?

Love this. I may have to steal it when I feel ignored! But I think I will make it 52 dogs.

I sometimes feel this way too. But then there are threads I have started and they get a lot of response. Some none.

For the most part this forum has been very helpful. I don't have much support with my dog at home so I look here for that. If it wasn't for this place I would never be able to pick myself up when I feel like a total trainer failure. (which is often lately)

Ok..now about breeding those 52 dogs....

This was my dilemma at the last few of your posts, I didn't have anything useful to add. Normally that doesn't stop me from posting but I didn't want to sound even more foolish than I usually do

But I'm posting now!
