If she could talk she'd be saying to me every single day, "You wanna get fit don't you, fatty? Come on! Let's go! Move! MOVE! MOVE!!!" Whereas my little boy Bowser is more like, "So when do we eat? And when do we get to lie down?" Quote:

I'm Scots/Irish with a bit of English I don't admit too....I like the blacks, darker sables, bi-colors.

I'm American but all 3 of my grandparents are Irish immigrants and the 4th is the daughter of Irish immigrants (Chicago and its Irish immigrant community LOL) and I love red dogs. But my parents moved us out west to NM when I was very young, so it's not a cultural thing.
Red is just a pretty color! I like chestnut horses too, prettiest one I have in training right now is a gorgeous chestnut pinto. ![]() As far as the OP, I've posted a lot in a short time (it's the off-season for my work so I'm online a ton), and I notice it's very specific. Some posts I make turn into pages of discussion, others are totally ignored in responses. Now, part of that might be the quality of the posts, but I think mostly it's just normal. People respond to things they feel the need to respond to. If you're saying what everyone is thinking, or if you're posting about something few posters know much about (which may explain the bloodline thing), you're not going to get many responses. I know I often read the breeding forum, but I am not sure I've ever posted there, because I don't know enough about GSD breeding to feel comfortable doing so! I don't think you need to worry, OP. Since this post got 10 pages of replies, I don't think you're being boycotted.

Hey Rua I love Ireland . Went there in as agraduation present to myself when I got my Master's . I would need to hate beer if I lived there but I loved Guiness and some paler beer and of course I love whiskey, not Jamison ,Bushmill's. I know not a popular choice. I had three grandparents that were half Irish and one who was quarter and I got to met a cousin in County Claire.

About 4 or 5 years ago, there were a number of us who felt the way you do. We actually called ourselves the Losers' Club! We used an avatar that looked like a movie ticket and said Losers' Club. It seemed like some people come on the board, post a picture of their GSD's half-eaten tennis ball, and get 6 pages of comments. Others get very little or no response to things that are far more interesting. I don't know why; I guess it's just the way it is.
I've been a member since 2003, but post very little these days. So many questions have been asked over and over and over again that people are told to search for answers before starting a new post. So, I usually just do a search and find what I need rather than posting something new.
