Do You Tip At Restaurants?
Does it depend on the service,do you tip no matter what or don't tip? If we have good service I always leave a good tip because I know how hard the job is.
|
I always tip. I know how much customer service work sucks at times. If it's okay to bad service I will leave 15%. If it's great then I'll tip 20-25%.
|
I use to be a server, of course I tip, usually 25%, unless the server is not worth it. I hardly ever go out to eat, though. I have gift cards that need to be used up, I think I'll wait til the flu season is over.

i always tip and tip well.

Unless I actually see someone spitting in my food or they're extremely rude... I always tip at least 20%. Good thing I've never experienced either.

I always tip depending on the server, and only the server. I know they don't cook they food, and it's not their fault if it comes out wrong or slow sometimes. I usually leave a decent tip for an average server. I leave a generous tip for a great server. and on VERY rare occasion if i have had a down right nasty, terrible, rude server I won't leave a thing. But i know the job must suck so I always try to tip decently.

I used to wait tables...I go into a restaurant with the expectation of good service and the idea of tipping 20%.
It goes down from there. I have very rarely NOT left a tip. And usually it's been because the food is bad, the service is bad and the whole experience is bad. And usually that's AFTER I've complained and gotten nowhere. |
I always tip, but if the service stinks I leave a penny, thank goodness that has only happen once:). I could not even imagine if someone did not tip, that might stink..
