Hubby broke his leg and damaged his ankle. He has 8 weeks of limited exercise. I'm interested in any ideas of exercising the rest of his body (as well as his mind) while he is stationary.
He is normally a very active guy and just sitting is harder on him than the actually injury.

I am not a PT, but I am an ACSM Personal Trainer. When I work with clients who cannot bear weight, we focus on upper body strength using free weights while seated, tubing exercises and core work using resistance. You'd be amazed how much can be accomplished in a chair.

Thanks so very much for the reply!! We can do that.
He is complaining of his hips getting sore. Do you know of anything that he can do to strengthen that area? Or would working on his 'core' help that area too? Remember, I'm looking on things for him to do so that he thinks he is not just vegging in a chair. For someone who is used to moving and going 24/7, not being mobile so far is the hardest thing for him.
