Doc said two weeks or so. She gave me two weeks of doxy, and if it comes back positive they will add me two more.

Here is hoping, that sucker just HURT!

Oh ICK! I H A T E ticks...(not that anyone *likes* them), but I have close to a neurosis about them. I thought I was safe since we have had a hard freeze...but I guess not. Great...I've been working in the brush in our yard (trying to rid the covenient Copperhead habitat). I guess I will take tick precautions even now.

Glad they got it out of you. I have nearly caused myself serious injury by freaking out when I found one latched on. I would have had to be given vercet before they could have dug that bugger out of me. I'm happy to hear you are braver!

I had to pull one off of my husband in a "special" place that was funny. He could not get his eyeballs close enough with his reading glasses and he woke me up to say "is that what I think it is" yep 3am. Guess it found a place with a good blood supply. Fortunately we got it before it ate.

worst was with our old dog, i had one crawling up my leg in bed, i couldn't sleep the rest of the night because i felt like there were more crawling over me!
