I'm curious if it's a "bad" tick with disease?
Also if the put you on antibiotics...I think ticks have a painless way to bite?

It looks like it could be the lyme tick (Ixodes scapularis) from the picture. Ask your doc about getting on antibiotics.

Maybe its where I live, but the UC here usually gets you in pretty quick unless its really packed. Last couple times I've been there I haven't waited over 10 mins.

make sure you get tested for Lyme disease.

It's too early for you to be tested for Lyme disease, but you may be able to have the tick tested by the health department.

Doc had to cut it out, it was in so deep. She gave me a script for antibiotics for Lymes - they are sending it off to be tested. Figured it was worth taking the meds incase it is Lymes.

I hate ticks.
