A friend of mine told me about it. Said if I have a GSD then it's a must. I think she was right.

I used to Google questions about Harley, and most of the best answers that I came across were on this site. Eventually, I thought; "If I find all my answers on this one website, why not just join the forum?", so I did, and it was the best decision I've ever made.

Googled! We were very excieted about having our first gsds and joined way back then! Didn't visit the site for some years, but when Cody died I figured out how to log on(it had changed up some) because I just wanted to tell someone about my heart. Thank you members for being there in a tough time.

Long story....

I was looking on CL for a German Shepherd, only knew so much about the breed, and found what I thought was an older one. He was a stray some lady had picked off the street, had tried to find a home for, and could no longer keep. I went over to meet him, and either way, GSD or not, he was a beautiful, well-tempered dog, so I brought him home. Then I got curious, because he didn't look like any Shepherd I'd ever seen before (I was only familiar with B&T Saddle Backs at the time and my Koda is a Sable) what he was mixed with. I knew he must be part Shepherd, he looked it...but what else? So I looked on the internet for a forum to post pictures and ask, found this one, and here I am. Turns out Koda is nothing but a Long Coated Sable GSD...And a gorgeous one, at that. Don't mind me, I'm biased.

Actually, I found it because I was researching the best dog food for my future GSD. Actually was considering an adult rescue at the time.

I found the before and after feeding raw pics thread and was instantly hooked.
