We seem to have gone from a dog house to a cat house (for now at least) with the death of crazy white an the addition of 2 christmas kittens. Anyone suggest a good kitty forum? These kittens are challenging my patience.

Ok that forum might be great but i will never know. I posted per their rules and though this morning can see that all the moderated posts are there mine is not among them. How do they have a member base? If they take SO long to approve members people move on to somewhere else.... No wonder there seems to be little posting

Just trying to integrate the Christmas kittens properly..... they are vexing me. Our resident kitties are ok- Cathole and lunch are not bothered by the newcomers. They even groomed the little ones (and let them rub and snuggle before hopping out of reach). Snack is not at all happy they exist but just stays asleep when they come around. The little male is sweet and adapting well. The little female, when given a chance to explore heads right to the laundry room and behind the furnace! This does not work so well. She cries and cries every morning to be allowed out of the safe room...it is a mess! I don't know what my options are to let her explore more and keep her safe.
For his part, Cuddle Bug has cleaned them well and keeps a watchful eye. He likes to snuffle bellies and they don't seem to mind. In fact, they like to grab his tail and chomp his nose in play. |
