Family needing positive/prayers

I'm at a loss. My 16 year old daughters best friend (who is 13) lost her dad a couple hours ago. He unexpectedly died of a heart attack. The family is poor. They live in a camper, mom has cancer, and dad just passed away

The rest of the family pretty much has serious alcohol problems. She is a beautiful, extremely smart young lady. VERY mature for her age, anyone looking at her would think she was 16, at least, and she has the intellect to match. This man was like my daughters 2nd dad, he was an awesome person. This is just TRAGIC. Looking for prayers. Positive thoughts. Wow. this is horrible.

And yes, she has a home here, anytime. Door is open if she needs a family. OMG

I don't just do GSDs....

sounds terrible situation, this will not be solved easily or quickly. hope all can hang in there long for things to improve and things definately will improve.

thank you x11. I just want to rally everyone I know to send prayers thier way. This is so sad.

it is more than sad but it is not the end.

i would have said prayers man but that would not be real honest on my part as i have not set foot in a church for so long i would not know how to say them proper.

thats why I asked 4 positive thoughts...I'm not a church goer either...but believe positiveness, be it prayers, or just positive vibes, make a difference. I give positive love all I can... and things are better in my home... I want all the positive energy to hug this girl

Sending prayers and positive thoughts. I wish I could give you advice but other than making sure the right folks know you can step in for the daughter...I don't know.

Very sad story. I hope & pray that this girl grows to be a good and strong woman. Too much pain for such a young girl.
