FWIW....just because you aren't attending a church doesn't mean you can't pray! And there is no 'proper' way to talk to God....just do it however you want...He'll listen!

Sending good thoughts to the family.
Have you tried to get in contact them about possibly getting some kind of assistance with burial or are you just letting them handle it? I'm not saying for you to pay for it,but it doesn't sound like most of the people in the family are that level headed? |

Many thanks to all of you. They live in Garden (I moved 6 hours away a year ago). Theres not much else I can do... my daughter boarded the Amtrak tonight to go be with her friend. They were very close. She has been down every break she has to stay with them, and her friend came up here once for a week. He was a very kind, good man, wonderful dad, and all the kids could count on him anytime to be there for them.
