Default Favorite Holiday Dishes

What are some of your favorite holiday dishes to make or just eat. I love my Macaroni/Cheese from scratch, but haven't made any for the past few holidays.I will be making it tomorrow though.

Pie. Lots of pie!

We always make a few experimental dishes during the holidays. On thanksgiving I made parmesan crusted green beans. It was super yummy and easy. For New Years we always have black eyed peas.

I love platters of crackers and cheese! Seriously I could eat nothing but crackers and cheese. I also love good ol' Christmas cookies, you know the plain kind with colored frosting and sprinkles. My family doesn't really have any traditional dishes. Yesterday we had chili, rolls with cheese and ham, cheesy potato casserole, meat balls, and a bunch of snack stuff.

I would love to know how to make parmesan crusted green beans. They sound wonderful. We have a lot of food but always meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy and Norwegian fruit soup.

We always have seafood Christmas Eve (lobster, shrimp and mussels). I look forward to it every year.

I like cheese & crackers before dinner, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, dressing/stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole for dinner and pie or ice cream for dessert.

The only good thing about Christmas around here is the turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy. I can't wait until dinner tomorrow.
