When did you start to feel "old"?

When I see a photo of myself and wonder why my Mom is there. When my son's girlfriend has never seen Star Wars. When I order a size 20 dress. When I refuse to go somewhere without indoor plumbing. When I stopped dying my hair purple because it didn't cover the gray. When "granny panties" just became panties.

When I used to be able to stay up all day,get two hours of sleep,wake up and feel fine.I'm only 29,but still can't do the things that I used to when I was 20.

Already do... at almost 24. lol.

Knees are bad, lower back is bad. Being competitive in the horse world for about 20 years and work has just worn me down.

Now with it getting cold here, I've truly noticed how old I really feel! lol!

My back has hurt since my teens, but mostly because of my scoliosis. I went in a few mos. ago and they did X-rays and said I have arthritis on some of my vertebrae and probably working on a slipped disc.
My back & neck will randomly go into spasm and I have to take muscle relaxants for it.

Personally, I can't wait to go gray--I won't have to bleach my hair before putting the purple color on.

I can't figure it out--my mom had salt-and-pepper hair by age 40, and I only have a few here and there. My cousin (my mother's twin's daughter, so genetically my half-sister) had salt-and-pepper by her 30's.

Where's my gray hairs? Dangit, I've earned 'em!

But, I am sure Pfizer will prevail, if this is pulled from the market for humans, it will likely make it's way into the veternary practices, just like Rimadyl

You should really look into natural anti-inflammatories, like wobenzyme, curcumin, devils claw

Thanks for the info, this is exactly the reason I'm not on any medications now and one reason I want to find a new doctor... Mine just gives me any old thing but never discusses the risks or long term health effects. He told me my insurance might not cover it but didn't say why.

But I will look into the things that you mentioned!
