So far, I have been pretty successful with my resolutions over the years. It is much easier if I pick things that are fairly easily avoided.

Love it!

I will have run something like 1650 miles this year, so I want to match or better that number next year.

I want to do a 3:45 marathon.

I hope to do a better job of flossing daily.

I tend to get extremely nervous when being in new situations and tend to be shy and quiet when first meeting new people.
I'm starting my clinical rotations in hospitals January 7.
I want to become more confident and stop sweating the small stuff. I want to be able to become more comfortable easier and be more out going right off the bat.
I want to land a job while out on rotations.
And I want to lose weight and exercise more

To all you people looking to lose weight, get healthy etc for your resolution, I have a tip for you! Look up and look into Couch to 5k! This is a running program that is supposed to get you from being a couch potatoe to being able to run a 5k in 9 weeks. Basically it builds up your stamina and running muscles so that you can do it. There is a smart phone app for about 2 bucks that will track everything, you just have to go out and do it! I am military and have a PT test coming up but do to a back injury I have trouble running. This program has worked WONDERS for me!! I am out there running this thing 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fir) and it is 30 min sessions. It starts you out doing more walking than running, and slowly works you into walking and running about the same amount, then more running than walking and finally all running. Just an idea and may work with some of you. For me I have been doing this for 2 weeks, watching what I eat, only drinking water (ONLY ONLY ONLY!!!!) and 2 times a week I go to the gym and strength train. I have lost 20 pounds of fat and am starting to lose fat while gainning muscle which is VERY hard to do (do to the different calorie intake vlaues). But anyway, check out this program, you may find yourself starting to enjoy running and if you do, you can sign up for a 5 k(makes an AWESOME goal for your resolution) and it doesn't have to be a serious hardcore 5k race! There are 5k's that are just well FUN! Check out the Color Run!!! I CAN NOT WAIT until this comes to my area because I am doing this!! There is also a mud/foam/obstacle course 5k run coming to my area. Now my main goal is passing my PT test with a great score, but these 2 FUN 5k runs are what I am most looking forward to!! GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!

One of my new year resolution is to build trust and a better bond with Chief. My other one is to start clicker training him and not give up and to accept him for him and not compare him to Smokey. I want training and such to be fun with him. May seem like a silly new year resolution to most people, but that's what I need to work towards. I have more, but that's my main one.
