Found a poem I wrote about my, now deceased, big dog. He died after I had to have him put down due to rabies vaccinosis. I wrote it in his healthy days. I loved him, he was born in my hands and died in my hands. This poem represents his gentle loyalty.
Devotion I am watching my gentle big dog From the kitchen window: Strolling over a sunlit deck Going nowhere special, Spots my jacket Fallen off the chair Sniffing, checking carefully Softly wags his tail I know……… It’s mutual

Sorry about your loss, besides your poem I'm sure that you have lots of great memories. Thanks for sharing your poem with us.
