Cheaper, bigger, USB drive, more apps/less paying, more "pc like" and an SD card port. We'll see.
I've had an android phone and really liked it, hopefully this is of same quality to me.

We have an iPad and I have a MacBook laptop. I do love all the apps we can use on the iPad, there really is an app for everything and so many websites are set up to be accessed via an iPad so it does make surfing pretty easy. My girlfriend had an iPad way before me and just recently gave it to her son and got one of the pc type tablets. She ended up taking back the iPad from her son and giving him the tablet. She just couldn't do half the stuff she was accustomed to on it. I'm sure the others will catch up as far as apps go in the very near future, though.
The laptop is good, but was pricey and is not anywhere near as portable as the iPad. I usually leave it down at the kennel.

I think we all stick with what we know. It's more comfortable. I've been an Apple/Mac user since 1994, so that's what I know and like. So it follows that I have an iPhone, iPad, and a MacBook Pro.
![]() I say go to Best Buy, and play with every tablet you can get your hands on. |

I checked out best buy... played with a few, really didn't care enough to be too picky... they were just neat :-) I found a cheap Samsung tab 10 on craigslist with some accessories including a keyboard and went with that today. So far so good, we'll see how it works out. Getting back into android is weird but nice. Haha.

I haven't gotten to play with a Surface, but I got a Win8 Tablet PC, and it's not too bad, but if the store for the full Windows 8 is the same as the store for Win8 on the Surface; it's very skimpy at best. So just keep that in mind if you're going in that direction.
It's sure to change in the future, but for now, slim pickings in the app market. |

I do not recommend the Samsung Galaxxy Tab, the original one. Not sure you would be able to use a spread sheet with it, and I know applications, as in job applications, are nearlyimpossible to fill out on it.
It got me through my move, but really it is not at all close to similar to a laptop.
