In our towing business we have recently noticed an increase in DUI crashes since about the week before Thanksgiving. Not just DUI driving arrests where they get pulled over, but some crazy accidents, recklessness. I don't remember so many last year at this time.
I know many of you take your dogs everywhere in the car and even out walking, please be extra vigilant in noticing the behavior of the cars around you. Hoping you all stay safe this holiday season. Yesterday, at around 10:30am, my husband was dispatched to a roll-over vehicle. When he arrived at scene the car was still on it's roof. When the police arrived, they determined the driver was drunk. The driver told the firemen at the scene, "it's OK I don't need a tow truck I can drive it home". |
