So the glass of wine I had a few days ago probably didn't help, and the bag of cookies in my car is probably not a good idea. Ok.
I practically live on chicken soup from scratch, with lots of onion, celery, and carrots in it. I pretty much stay away from garlic. Not completely, but yeah, it will keep folks away from you.

My nose is a lot better. My ears feel better. I have been sucking on Luden's honey licorice throat drops. I did the second dose of the nose drops at 9, a little sooner than I should have, but I wasn't going to stay up 'til 1:30. At least I am not sitting here with a kleenex stuffed up against my nose.
I hope the antibiotics work quick. I have always hated nose drops. And I was totally skeptical, but when the doctor said to hide them from myself after three days, I decided to give it a shot. I can use those until Wednesday, and then keep going with the other kind. Dad told me he messed himself up with the stuff and it was bad for a long time, so I won't blow off that advice. Now just have to worry about that blood test. I went ahead and let them check for the sugar as well as the thyroid. If it is bad, I will go ahead at take the drugs. I have them. I just am hoping that having lost some weight and giving up the sugary pop and welbutrin, I won't need it. My brother did the same thing, and the doctor did say he didn't need the stuff. But now he does again.

You've been ill a long time, thought you'd be better by now. My sinuses are in pain too, I'm kind of living on Advil and will have to steam again tonight. Nasty virus or bacteria in you case.
Hope you feel better soon. I thought your blood sugar increases when you are sick, if the number are off, try checking again when you are well. |

I agree with Carryingon on this. Garlic can be the best remedy for cold and flu. The best way is to chew some amount first and then swallow it as a whole. This can help remedy your cold troubles.
