Your right! It's funny I never considered myself fashion savvy but now that I think about it, I have outfits for different seasons and ones that best conceal whichever weapon I decide to carry! DIfferent size pistols, different holsters all based on the weather, the time of year and other factors. Hmmm Much easier to hide in winter clothing but it can be sometimes harder to draw in that same attire. Do you ever dry draw? With a completely cleared and unloaded weapon(and safing flag for me) I have done basically a practice drill to see my ability to safely draw my weapon in different outfits. In federal law enforcement officer training center (FLETC) we practiced the draw and fire (with live rounds after several dry drills). We even were advised to practice with dummy guns in our living quarters, and then when we qualified we had to unsnap, draw, fire X shots within X seconds! We did this in our duty uniform as well as with a winter coat on (teaching us the coat sweep and draw technique).
And Msvette your right in self defense they taught us that too! like I said earlier, I enjoy seeing other peoples views on this stuff... helps me guage how crazy/paranoid I actually am!
