Default Sad but lets hope for a Good ending!!

I went to visit this girl in the hospital yesterday and she has been there for five days do to an injury and her birhtday is today, she just turned 18yrs old. It is a hard place to be, and after 18 (as of midnight) she to the minute ended up homeless, not even gradutated yet. I have a hard time with some people but will give my all for others. I do not even know how this is going to turn out yet.

She is doing ok, out of the hospital and we have her a place to stay. I went and picked her up for lunch today and gave her a Birthday card with enough money in it to help her until she can go back to work and school. I would say she is a good kid, but she isn't a kid anymore = big 18 yrs old now

Where are her parents? I can not, and will never, understand how a parent can just walk away from a child.

Her parents are in prison. I don't think her dad will ever get out and when her mom does she will just go back to drugs like she always does. This girl has a lot better life away from her parents forsure..

Poor girl, thanks for giving her a chance. I feel bad for kids in that age group, because a lot of times they still are kids and need love and guidance but are left on their own by their families and/or the state.

She will make it if I have anything to do with it . She does not have to live like she was before now either. So I want to see her get a good education, have an awsome job and not on walfare
