If you're sure you aren't allergic to nuts, I'd guess the pineapple too.
I can only have it in small amounts or the same thing happens to me. I think it has something to do with it being too acidic.

The fresh pineapple makes my tongue burn if I eat too much. Also, too much salt does that too. Feels like open cuts are on my tongue. I check, but I can't find anything. During the summer I made the mistake of putting sugar on the fresh pineapple and it had my tongue hurting for three days until it went away. I tossed out the rest of it. It felt like acid was on my tongue. Learned my mistake, lol. I rather eat the canned pineapple or eat it as is in moderation.
