We give a lot of gift certificates to local restaurants. We could include a note something like "we appreciate our wonderful clients. Please have lunch on us".

Thanks for all the suggestions!!!
I'll be straight....my "clients" are my "employers". I clean their homes for them!
Soo....while many of these suggestions are great, you can see where I'm coming from in the fact that many of these people are hoity-toity and would probably throw any handmade goodies into the trash(or would not eat them due to their diet)
Many of them are cool and we are friends, but more than a few think they are above me. So I guess I'm looking for unique gifts that won't be something I'll have to dust! And like I said, I really don't want to spend too much, $20 or less on each household. Many of them have keurigs so coffee isn't going to go over well.

Probably going to do a nice bottle of wine for the wine drinkers, not sure yet on others.
Unfortunately, we don't have a costco around here, just Sam's.

I am thinking everyone loves orchids. Most are under 20 bucks, are beautiful and exotic, and brighten up anyone's living space.

Oh, they do...$ bonuses for the most part. But I don't get paid vaca's or other perks, of course!

Christmastime is one perk of being married to an elementary teacher. We are for sure at least getting a box of fresh beef steaks.....

Elementary teachers do get gifted way better than than the higher grade levels. I haven't bought teacher gifts since my kids left 5th grade....and same for the bus driver. That's kind of sad, but the individuality isn't the same in middle/HS.

It's crazy, Phil's school actually has some kind of fund and the "room mom" gets him birthday and Christmas gifts! At my job we get a platter of nuts and fruit (like to share with the entire department).

Have you thought about giving them a "special" Christmas ornament that would go with whatever theme they have for their tree?
