Guitar Magazines?
My BIL just got his masters in music (and a HUGE brag, one of his courses was taught by Steve Vai ... that's how dang good he is LOL)
I want to get him a subscription to a guitar magazine for Christmas but haven't a clue as to which one would be a good one. He plays ANYTHING and EVERYTHING ... I've looked around, and honestly, I can tell the difference between an electric guitar and one that's not ... and oh, yeah, a bass guitar. Anyone out there that knows more about this? (Well, there's probably 20 million more) I'm looking for a magazine that he'll enjoy and not just look at the pictures LOL Thanks so much, Marion

Larrivee guitars sponsors The Music Road Show on WSM 650 AM in Nashville. They are in California. Why not call them at (805) 487-9980. I don't have one, and the only musical instrument I can play is the radio !!
I just thought of them as I listen to the that program some. |

Is there a style he focuses on?
My boyfriend plays guitar I can ask him tonight what he thinks. He's a metal head so we stick to guitarworld at my house.

He definitely plays heavy metal and is in a metal band ... so that would help, yes.
I like some metal, but mainly rock (and my music's all old stuff LOL ... GnR, Aerosmith, etc.!)

Danny says go with Guitar World. Then told me he wouldn't mind one either, one thing off the Christmas list now if he'd give me more ideas
